God is Always With Us, No Matter How Far We Go
Today’s conversation with Holy Spirit was a reminder for me to know that His name is Emmanuel, which means God with us.
Here’s what I discerned the voice of the Lord saying to me this morning:
Reachable
There is no place you can go that I can’t (and won’t) reach you.
There is no off the grid with Me.
Everywhere you go, I AM there.
In the valley…I AM there.
On the mountain….I AM there.
You are never too far for Me to be Near
You are never too far for Me to bring you back home to Me
These are the scriptures that the Holy Spirit led me to this morning:
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. — Matthew 1:23 KJV
Let my cry reach you, Lord; give me understanding according to your word. — Psalms 119:169 CSB
God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand. I’m an open book to you; even from a distance, you know what I’m thinking. You know when I leave and when I get back; I’m never out of your sight. You know everything I’m going to say before I start the first sentence. I look behind me and you’re there, then up ahead and you’re there, too— your reassuring presence, coming and going. This is too much, too wonderful— I can’t take it all in! — Psalms 139:1-6 MSG
Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight? If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute— you’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you. — Psalms 139:7-8 MSG
Be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid of them. Don’t be terrified because of them. The Lord your God will go with you. He will never leave you. He’ll never desert you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6 NIRV
David also said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and brave. Get to work. Don’t be afraid. Don’t lose hope. The Lord God is my God. He is with you. He won’t fail you. He won’t desert you until all the work for serving in the Lord’s temple is finished. — 1 Chronicles 28:20 NIRV
The Spirit of the God who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you. So the God who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your bodies. He will do this because of his Spirit who lives in you. — Romans 8:11 NIRV
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me. — Psalms 23:4 NIRV

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!

Is your confidence built up knowing God is always with you (even in times where you weren’t with him)?
