Keep Reading & Keep Sharing

Yesterday while watching a few clips from the show, Sid Roth It’s Supernatural, one of the guests said that our prayers should be 80% thanking God and 20% asking God.

This morning I woke up with that on my heart. I began to thank God. I said this is Thankful Friday. Nope, it doesn’t sound as good as Thankful Thursday, but who cares what the title sounds like when it’s really about being grateful to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

I thank the Lord Jesus for knowledge of Him. I thank the Lord Jesus for His blood that was shed on the cross just for me. I thank the Lord Jesus for His blood which covers ALL MY SINS. I thank the Lord Jesus for His blood that paid the price for me. And because of that blood, I have been set free and will live in eternity!

I discerned the voice of the Lord saying to me: Keep sharing no matter how it lands. Keep sharing the Good News about Me all across the land. People are listening, you will see. They care more about their eternity than they let on to be. Keep reading and keep sharing. Stay hungry for My Word.

This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. — 1 John 1:5 AMP

This week has definitely been a theme of light and darkness, shining, uncovering, etc. I love when the Lord continues the conversation.

Another scripture that stood out to me this morning was:

Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration and passion in ministry to labor with a tireless intensity, with his power flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his perfect one in Jesus Christ. — Colossians 1:28 TPT

So everywhere we go we talk about Christ to all who will listen, warning them and teaching them as well as we know how. We want to be able to present each one to God, perfect because of what Christ has done for each of them. — Colossians 1:28 TLB

P.S. I just love having conversations with the Lord! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
