Let’s Review Together

I heard two things from Holy Spirit this morning. One was Kingdom Business Model and the other thing He said was: Put Me in remembrance of My Word. Remind Me of My Promises.

Put me in remembrance; let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right. — Isaiah 43:26 ESV

Let us review the situation together, and you can present your case to prove your innocence. — Isaiah 43:26 NLT

Lately, Holy Spirit has been reminding me to go back to what He has said to me already. Yesterday I started pulling out old journals and just reading them in no particular order. Just reading a few of our conversations helped me to remember what God said about certain areas of my life including my work, my children, my relationships, and my finances.

When I read that scripture in Isaiah above, I looked at a commentary and it said that we are to plead our case before the Lord; declare His promises, that by His free grace He may justify us.

Simply going back to what God said revived me, refreshed me, and restored some areas where my hope had diminished. I often think about how Abraham waited for like 25 years before the promise God gave him came to pass. We (and we I say we, I mean me) often get weary in the wait, but by simply going back to the promises of what God said and then doing what He said do, which is REMINDING HIM of it and reviewing it with Him, that strengthens us to know that it’s coming. It could be ANY DAY NOW, but we can trust that if God said it, it’s ALREADY DONE.

Since Holy Spirit didn’t give me too much in our earlier conversation about the Kingdom Business Model, I can with great expectation know that He will continue that conversation!

P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
