Loved & Learned

This morning I got a love bullet pointed letter from the Holy Spirit during prayer time. He knew it was exactly what I needed! Aren’t you thankful for a Father who supplies all your needs? I know I am. Here’s what He said to me this morning:

  • Let me fill every hole in your life with my love.

  • My love never rejects.

  • My love never abandons.

  • I want you closer to Me.

  • I want to pull you closer.

  • My love heals.

  • My love restores.

  • My love is eternal.

  • My love flows non-stop.

  • There is nothing you can do to stop my love for you.

  • My love chased you down.

  • No love can fulfill you like My love.

  • There is no greater love than mine.

  • I love you.

  • My love is faithful.

  • Just follow My lead in love.

  • Love gives.

  • Love forgives.

  • Love chases.

  • Love listens.

  • You are anchored in My love.

As I wrote these love bullets, they pierced my heart. I never knew love like this and it’s better than any love I have ever known. I sat there and just received God’s love. Yes, a few tears streamed down my face. Yes, I was more than grateful to be on my knees at the feet of the Father with a bowed down head.

It took me a minute to open my Bible because I could have stayed in that space all day, but I AM still has me ON ASSIGNMENT. LOL!

Today, we embark on a new book of the Bible for our Scriptural Bible Study. We are in the book of James and James, the in-you-face, no-holds-barred apostle, comes out the gate swinging. I got so many nuggets JUST FROM absorbing chapter 1. Let us be reminded to not just read the Word of God, but to meditate on it. Chew on it. Let it marinate. Here are a few things I am eating today from James 1 (and I made it personal):

  • My greatest lessons in faith are often learned in the dark.

  • If I lack wisdom, ask God and He will give it to me.

  • When I am tested or experience trials, this testing of my faith produces endurance, and that endurance when in full effect matures me and completes me, so that I lack nothing.

  • Conflicts that I experience in the physical world are a means God uses to draw my attention to something in the spiritual world.

  • God communicates wisdom to me primarily through prayer and His word, then secondarily through godly counsel.

  • When I sin as a believer, I break fellowship with God.

  • I have everything I need for spiritual growth, but I have to receive it and humbly place myself under it’s authority so that it can SAVE me, deliver me, and transform me.

  • Without application of God’s word in my life, there is no transformation of who I am.

  • True freedom is submitting to God’s Word. That means going to His word intentionally, not casually, in prayer and meditation.

  • I am to be quick to listen to God’s thoughts; slow to speak my own points of view (including on social media or gossip); and slow to anger even when I don’t like what God has to say.

  • I will not let the world rub off on me. Instead, I will let my faith rub off on the world.

When I tell yall this one chapter was definitely no-holds-barred, in your face!!!!!! Come through James! LOL!

Today, I was loved and I was learned. You couldn’t pay me to go back to my old life. I love who I am in Christ on this day!!

Have an amazing Monday!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
