Made Whole

So last night, me and Holy Spirit had a conversation about faith. I was reading in the book of Mark chapter 4 when the winds had to obey Jesus, but prior to that the disciples were afraid and lacking faith. You know what I’m talking about? If not, go and read Mark 4:35-41.

But anyway, I wrote in my journal last night that I must have a deeper understanding of Christ and His Word so that my faith will reflect our relational depth (Oh I sounded real smart saying that didn’t I). Bottom line though is I got to act like God is telling me the truth when we have these conversations. Otherwise, I ain’t being in faith (yes I know I just used the word ain’t, right after touting how smart I sounded). LOL!!

One of the things I read last night that Dr. Tony Evans said (in my Tony Evans Study Bible) is that faith is acting like God is telling you the truth, even when what you see doesn’t line up with what He’s telling you. I know this (as I am sure you do to), that what God said, I don’t always see (not yet anyway). But when I stay in faith and act like what He said is true (because it is), I WILL SEE IT!

So this morning, as I was praying, I heard Holy Spirit say: I AM clearing out pre-existing conditions. Knowledge of Me removes the pre-existing condition and makes you whole.

I didn’t know what that meant exactly, but I did think about how Holy Spirit is renewing my mind and exposing religious traditions or thought patterns that don’t line up with His Word.

So I decided to go to His Word and look for scriptures about being made whole! I went to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and 1 Thessalonians! Yup! All of them! But before I get there, do yall know that the woman with the issue of blood in Matthew 9 had a PRE-EXISTING CONDITION!!! She had been bleeding for 12 years!! But it was her faith that made her whole!!

WOOOOOOOOW!

Like when I saw that, I was like LORD YOU ARE SOOOO GOOD AT THESE CONVERSATIONS!! LOL! But He is though! For me to hear Him say what He said and then look up “made whole” in my concordance and be led to Matthew 9:21-22!! Yall can’t tell me Holy Spirit can’t guide you into all truth! I am showing you right here and right now on this blogcast how He does it!

Okay so I thought about how I have been in church all my life and learning different religious things that haven’t served me well as a believer! I know right. How is it possible to be in church your WHOLE life and not be WHOLE? YIKES! Oh that’s sooo good! But the good news is this…God is making me WHOLE right now as I spend time with Him daily in His Word and in these conversations called prayer!

The Lord told me this morning that he is clearing out my pre-existing conditions as I get to know HIM! He is making me whole as I come into the knowledge of HIM! Who He is! What He has ALREADY DONE for me (and you too)!

Let’s get into these scriptures!

for she said within herself, If I do but touch his garment, I shall be made whole. But Jesus turning and seeing her said, Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith hath [made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. — Matthew 9:21-22 ASV

— —

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. — Matthew 15:28 KJV

— —

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. — Mark 5:34 KJV

Jesus said to her, “Daughter, you took a risk of faith, and now you’re healed and whole. Live well, live blessed! Be healed of your plague.” — Mark 5:34 MSG

— —

But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. — Luke 8:50 KJV

——

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. — Luke 17:19 KJV

——

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. — John 5:4-11

Only God can make you whole! No one else! (And nothing else)!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
