Only God Can!

Today’s conversation with Holy Spirit actually started in my bed. I had been up late with a tummy ache, so I didn’t quite pop up when my alarm went off. But here’s the thing though, no matter what time I wake up, I am talking to God first. I am spending time with Him first. I felt like someone needed to hear that to remove any excuses that you may be using or excuses that may be keeping you from being consistent with your prayer time.

First I prayed in the spirit (my heavenly language) and then as I was talking to Holy Spirit in prayer, my mind got stuck on this one phrase: Only God Can!

I grabbed my journal and then as if a Holy Ghost fire hydrant was busted, I wrote very fast:

Only God can:

  • heal

  • deliver

  • set free

  • fix

  • change

  • sustain

  • keep

  • cover

  • protect

  • provide

  • comfort

  • guide

  • SAVE!

Notice the first one was heal. When I was coming out of the bathroom in the wee hours of the morning, I received my healing for my tummy ache. See I wasn’t about to let that tummy ache just linger. Nope. I RECEIVED my healing. And I want to encourage you to RECEIVE everything that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has ALREADY DONE!

When I went to the Word of God for scripture regarding ONLY GOD CAN, I landed in Luke 1:37 and there are several translations that resonated with me this morning:

God can do everything! — Luke 1:37 ICB

Nothing you see is impossible with God! — Luke 1:37 MSG (in part)

For the word of God will never fail! — Luke 1:37 NLT

Nothing is impossible for God! — Luke 1:37 CEV

For with God, nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible. — Luke 1:37 AMP

All of these are my foundation that I am standing on today as I be about my Father God’s business! But let me say this…those brackets on that amplified translation though!!! Oooh weee! The part that says “IS OR EVER!” Those are shouting words right there! Say it slowly so it can settle in your mind: WITH GOD, NOTHING, NO THING, IS OR EVER SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE!

P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
