Humbleness + Prayer + Seeking Jesus + Repenting = Forgiveness and Land Healed!

This morning as I was praying, I wrote in my journal, what you don’t know CAN hurt you. The enemy banks on you NOT knowing. Sin opens the door to the enemy. Idol worshipping opens the door to the enemy.

We often times are trying to figure out why bad things keep happening, but we have to ensure that we REPENT and shut the door to the enemy, otherwise he will keep coming for us through them same doors. SHUT THE DOOR to the enemy by repenting!

Father God, help us to see the subtle tricks of the enemy.

Father God, help us to know what we are doing to hurt ourselves.

Show us Father God.

While studying chapter 9 in the book of Nehemiah for our Scriptural Bible Study, I kept falling asleep this morning. I was like, why do I feel extra sleepy reading God’s Word this morning, but i know that’s a strategy of the enemy. He wants me to sleep and not read. I could just pass that off as being tired, but what if I don’t. What if I push myself to read it, no matter how many times I read it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Because you know what? When I did read it, verses 26-31 talks about how God rescued His people over and over and over and over and over again, but they would STILL quickly forget him and return to their sin.

In their time of distress they cried out to you, and you heard from heaven. In your abundant compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the power of their enemies. But as soon as they had relief, they again did what was evil in your sight. So you abandoned them to the power of their enemies, who dominated them. When they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven and rescued them many times in your compassion. —Nehemiah 9:27-28 CSB

You were patient with them for many years and your Spirit warned them through your prophets, but they would not listen. Therefore you handed them over to the surrounding peoples. However in your abundant compassion, you did not destroy them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and compassionate God.— Nehemiah 9: 30-31 CSB

Let us not be like that, repenting and then relenting back to our old sinful patterns and ways. Let us persevere in our prayers. Let us persevere in our pursuit of God so that we can be more like Him each and every day.

As we go into prayer everyday, let us be encouraged to not stop truly SEEKING God for who He is and learning all we can about Him and His plans for our lives. We are to serve as God’s representatives on earth and we were placed here to carry out HIS desires in HIS-STORY (history).

What are His desires you may ask? That’s why we SEEK Him daily. He knows the plans (Jeremiah 29:11) but we must Seek Him (Matthew 6:33) so He can SHOW US and reveal them to us. And then when we are shown, our next step is to be urgently obedient.

Repent. Turn from things that are not of God. The only way to know what's not of God, is to know WHO GOD IS! Read His Holy Word to find out so that you won't keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again. God is being patient with us right now, let us not make Him wait for our full surrender to His way any longer.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
