Stay On the Wall

Stay On the Wall.

Those were the four words I heard this morning from Holy Spirit.

That’s the 2nd time in a row that Holy Spirit gave me 4 words and kept going.

He said:

  • Stay on the wall.

  • The prayer wall.

  • Your prayers are necessary.

  • Intercede.

  • Pray for every face I bring before you.

  • Pray in the spirit.

  • You have the power within you to stay on the wall.

  • I will strengthen your hands for every assignment I give you.

And that’s exactly what I did this morning. I made it a point to be in a bowed down and fully surrendered posture this morning. Every person that came before me, I prayed in the spirit for them. I have no idea what is going in their lives and it doesn’t matter. My assignment is to intercede for them.

When Holy Spirit said: Stay on the prayer wall. I went looking for scripture to stand on. Here’s what I found.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. — Romans 8:26-27 ESV

praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints — Ephesians 6:18 ESV

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. — 1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. — Colossians 4:2 ESV

for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, — Philippians 1:19 ESV

And I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?” — Nehemiah 6:3 ESV

For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands. — Nehemiah 6:9 ESV

Dear Prayer Warrior, the message today from Holy Spirit is for us to stay on the prayer wall and don’t come down for nothing! He will strengthen us to do everything He has assigned for us to do in prayer.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
