Unlocked Doors

My mind is continuously being blown by the Holy Spirit! So many wonderful things are happening and I am just excited to be apart of it! The 1 Hour Prayer Challenge group is on Holy Ghost fire! We just finished a 3 day fast and we are seeing miracles, signs, and wonders already! People’s lives are forever being changed because they made a decision to pray, fast, and give! The Bible says WHEN you do these things, so that’s a clue to us that it is necessary to do. But it has been an amazing week!

So what did the Holy Spirit say to me this morning (because now that I am praying 7 times a day, He is doing just what He said…having more conversations with me!! It has been so amazing to go into prayer at restaurants, drive-thrus, or wherever I am when my phone alarm goes off. See here’s the thing, I don’t care where I am or what I am doing, when my alarm goes off, I am going to PRAY! Period. If I am in a meeting and my alarm goes off, I will excuse myself to go and pray. It’s that much of a priority to me! You’d excuse yourself to go and pee wouldn’t you? Especially if you had to pee really bad. You would figure out a way to get to the bathroom! Well that’s the same insistence I have with my prayer time.

As I prayed this morning, the Holy Spirit said: Your CONSISTENCY is unlocking doors that no man can shut! My power is on you!

Let me tell y’all something. I have always been consistent, but it was just not in the right ways. I would be consistently late. I would be consistently stressing. I would be consistently sinning. I would be consistently worrying. Like all the things that didn’t help me live a godly life at all, was totally consistent.

So when I made the decision to focus on spending more time with the Lord and decided to do the 1 Hour Prayer Challenge, that consistency that’s always been there, was turned righteous as I sought God in prayer. Once I am truly committed to something, I am all in. But notice I said TRULY committed. I have committed to things before but you could always tell if I was true to it based on how consistent I was in it. I was committed to church. I went every Sunday. Didn’t miss a single Sunday, but I was not TRULY (root word is true) committed to it. Google says it means “in truth.” I definitely wasn’t living in truth because sin had me far (or separated) from Jesus. But I was in church though. I heard someone say the other day: you can go straight to hell right through the church. They were basically saying your church attendance won’t get you to heaven. It’s your relationship with our Lord and Savior. It’s your lifestyle. How you livin? For the culture or for the Kingdom?

John 14:6 TPT says, Jesus explained, “I AM the Way, I AM the Truth, and I AM the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too.

When the Holy Spirit said my consistency is unlocking doors that no man can shut, I went looking for scripture. I found it! Revelation 3:8 MSG says: I see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done. I’ve opened a door before you that no one can slam shut. You don’t have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn’t deny me when times were rough.

That message translation is so gangsta y’all! He said, I see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done! That part right there y’all is straight gangsta to me! But this translation speaks right much to consistency! See there have been times where I didn’t feel like getting up early to pray. There were definitely every time I didn’t feel like fasting. I mean who actually wants to fast? But to be honest with you, because I now know the benefits and understand what’s really going on on a spiritually level, I actually quite look forward to the results. Not the hard parts of course. But the results…I will take them every time!

Even in the hard parts though, God is with us! That verse in Revelation says, you don’t have much strength, I know that! Y’all God know you be tired. He probably been telling you to go to bed early so you won’t be, but anyway. Maybe He just talks to me like that. LOL! But He says I have opened doors no one can shut. He said my consistency is unlocking doors no one can shut! If you say the word consistency slowly, you can hear yourself saying CONSISTENT KEY! Did you hear it. Say it slowly again. CONSISTENT KEY. CONSISTENCY. CONSISTENT KEY. CONSISTENCY. CONSISTENT KEY!

There are doors that can only be unlocked with CONSISTENCY and CONSISTENT KEYS!

What are you consistently doing for the Lord?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
