Will You Be Found Faithful?

It’s a new month! The last month of this calendar year. If Jesus returned back today, where would He find you?

Today is December 1st and this morning kicked off a new month. Matthew 6:33 rang quite loudly in my thoughts:

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be provided for you. — Matthew 6:33 CSB

It’s the first of the month and here at OABG, we are seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. What about you?

As I prayed this morning, I heard the words: Found Faithful.

I thought about when Jesus returns will He find me On Assignment? Will He find me faithful to His Word? Will He find me faithful to representing Him? Will He find me faithful in telling others about Him?

In 1 Corinthians 4, it talks about being a Faithful Manager. The verses that stood out to me were 1 Corinthians 4:1-2

The Faithful Manager

A person should think of us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of the mysteries of God. In this regard, it is required that managers be found faithful.

When I looked at the study notes of my Dr. Tony Evans Study Bible, he said that we are called to operate under Christ’s authority and to be faithful to our King’s agenda!

Another scripture that spoke to being found faithful is in Matthew 24:

Faithful Service to Christ

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?46 Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes. — Matthew 24:45-46 CSB

Will we be found faithful today? Do you know your role in the King’s agenda?

P.S. I just love my daily conversations with God…don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
