Divine Timing

You’re not late.

Those were the three words I heard from Holy Spirit in early morning prayer.

I was on a prayer call and the woman of God said that God is catching me up to where I need to be.

I immediately thought about ketchup when I wrote down catch up. Ketchup is red. The blood of Jesus is red. I thought about how Jesus bled and died on the cross for my sins and how that sacrifice showed me how much He loved me. It’s that part of our relationship that draws me near to Him and Him near to me.

Then I had the thought of ketchup again. Catched Up. When we spend time with God, we are caught up (catched up) in His presence.

The more I thought about ketchup, the more Holy Spirit talked to me about catch up.

He said: You’re not late when you’re on My time. I can catch you up to exactly where I want you to be. If you’re not there yet, it’s because it’s not time yet. Remember I operate outside of time. My timing is divine.

Then Holy Spirit hit me with some bars. He said: Exact place at exact time…for My glory to shine.

Y’all know that’s a lit rap verse right there. And it’s straight from Holy Spirit!!

And that wasn’t all. Holy Spirit said:

  • Stay fully surrendered to My timing. It’s not too late; too much time hasn’t passed for me to make a miracle come to pass.

  • It’s so important for you to be where I tell you to be when I tell you to be there.

  • Sometimes I cause you to be delayed so you can appear right where I need you most.

  • Don’t be so focused on your schedule that you miss my divine timing interruptions.

  • I interrupt time for My glory to shine.

I started thinking about times where I have been considered late, but in heading to a place, I saw an accident; or I saw a homeless person to give to. Or times where I walked into the store and I held the door for someone or was behind someone in line who needed help. We never know how the Lord wants to use us for His glory.

Today’s conversation theme with Holy Spirit was like a continuation of yesterday’s conversation. The scriptures that He brought to my mind were some from yesterday too!

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. — 2 Peter 3:8 ESV

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens — Ecclesiastes 3:1

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. — Proverbs 16:9

We are His hands and feet on the earth. We must be fully surrendered to His timing in order to carry out His will on the earth. We aren’t late when we are in alignment with God’s divine timing.

P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
