Keep going.

I will continue confirming your calling.

Reflect often.

Those were the words I heard Holy Spirit say to me this morning in our conversation. Keep going. I will continue confirming your calling. Reflect often.

As I sat there reflecting on what He said, I thought about the scripture Philippians 1:6. Of course I had to Google it because I didn’t know the scripture, but when you start feeding yourself scripture, Holy Spirit will bring it back to your remembrance. So the part I remembered was, He that has begun a great work in you will perform it. I knew that wasn’t all of it, so I looked it up. Check out these translations that totally resonated with me this morning.

I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. — Philippians 1:6 AMP

I’m sure about this: the one who started a good work in you will stay with you to complete the job by the day of Christ Jesus. — Philippians 1:6 CEB

And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. — Philippians 1:6 TLB

Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. — Philippians 1:6 MSG

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. — Philippians 1:6 NLT

God began a good work in you. And I am sure that he will carry it on until it is completed. That will be on the day Christ Jesus returns. — Philippians 1:6 NIRV

I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ! — Philippians 1:6 TPT

I am confident that the Creator, who has begun such a great work among you, will not stop in mid-design but will keep perfecting you until the day Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King, returns to redeem the world. — Philippians 1:6 VOICE

When I read the NIRV translation, I heard Holy Spirit say, Your work isn’t done until I return. That fits right in alignment with what He said first to me, which was: KEEP GOING.

And I believe for me to keep going, He will continue to confirm what He has called me to do. And when I reflect often on how He has kept me thus far, and how the work He started in me won’t stop until He returns, I am encouraged to BE a willing participant in everything He is doing in my life.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
