Never Stop Talking To God
This morning. What a morning! I overslept. Or actually I stayed in the bed and prayed. And I kept hearing: Pray without ceasing. That’s from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. But it’s specifically verse 17!
And never stop praying. CEV
Make your life a prayer. TPT
Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]. AMPC
Pray all the time. MSG
Pray continually. NIV
Pray constantly. TLV
Be unceasing and persistent in prayer;
I kept hearing that and for me it meant, never stop talking to God. When I was in school they said I talked too much. I now believe this is a great trait for me to have to be obedient. Never stop having conversations with God. It says talk all the time. Talk constantly. Be persistent in my conversations with God. Make my life a conversation with God!
Whoa! Make my life a conversation with God. Because you DO know that prayer is the communication vehicle we use to talk to God!!!
I flipped to Proverbs this morning and it encouraged me, especially since I got up a little later. It said this: God can accomplish in a moment what would take years on your own. Seek him and his path. Watch him open the doors to your destiny.
I needed to have that talk with God this morning!!
Can I say this again…I just love my Conversations With God!
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
