You Are One Move of Obedience From Your Miracle!

This morning was full of worship and I want to say this…I always hear from God more clearly AFTER I worship. I have gone into the prayer closet still feeling sleepy and kinda dragging (because you know ain’t nothing/no thing going to stop me from waking up and praying every day), and I sometimes don’t do a full on worship. I acknowledge God as Holy, but I don’t do a full on worship. And what I realized this morning is that I don’t always hear as clear. It’s like I be straining or something. But I noticed this morning it was so clear. It’s almost like worship clears out the spiritual wax in my ears!! Ooooohhhhhh weeeeeee, that will preach! LOL!

Okay let’s jump into my conversation with Holy Spirit from today!

Now He said several things to me but one thing got me soooooo geeked that I shared it with a few friends before I even started with the blog and podcast!!! I know. I know. Yall supposed to get first dibs on the conversation, but maybe if you text me at 601-299-4398, I might add you to my PRE-PODCAST/PRE-BLOG text messages!

Anyway, this is what He said to me this morning after I sung in every key and made a joyful NOISE unto the Lord:

  • I’ve already worked out all the details.

  • Remember I KNOW the plans and you just gotta stay close to me so that I can give you the plans.

  • I had a plan from the start!!!

  • Be okay with not comprehending all that I am doing or the way that I am doing it.

  • Trust Me Fon!

  • I am the ultimate event planner.

  • Remember My first miracle?

  • When I am in it, everything is good and it all works out, no matter how it looks right now.

  • YOU ARE ONE MOVE OF OBEDIENCE FROM YOUR MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Yall know it was the last one that got me geeked right! I was like whoa! I thought more about His first miracle and how He turned water into wine, but it took obedience for the miracle to manifest. He didn’t just zap the water like some comedians be saying he did, talking about keep the party going. Naw. That ain’t what happened at all. And see God is a God of order and He is VERY DETAILED! I mean look at your body. It’s the most detailed thing ever made!

It was John 2:7-8 where we can see the details. Yall stay with me…I know John 2 is not our Scriptural Bible Study (that’s Ephesians and I got some points on that too), but check out what these verses say:

Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.

Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,

John 2: 7-8 NIV

Do you see that? Podcast listeners did you hear that? He gave them one assignment. Then when they did that, he gave them a 2nd assignment! It was in these moves of obedience that a miracle took place! And God said to me today, I am ONE MOVE OF OBEDIENCE from my miracle!!!! Give me the instructions Lord!!! I am looking for a miracle and I expect the impossible! Come on Clark Sisters!!

Now let’s move into Ephesians because the theme I am seeing today is a wedding!!! LOL! And let me say this parenthetically because last night I prayed that I not making getting married an idol. I don’t want us to make the things we want from God idols. It’s good for us to have faith, but our focus should always be on the GIVER, not the gift. The BLESSER, not the BLESSING! Amen!

But Ephesians 5 talks about wives and I’m here for it Lord! LOL!

Here’s what stood out for me today in this study:

  1. We represent God’s love when we serve others and not ourselves.

  2. When we love others by seeking what is best for their lives, it smells good to God. It’s like a fragrance.

  3. God wants us to see sin the way He sees it, not the way culture tries to normalize it.

  4. To reflect the light of Christ, we must have an intimate relationship with Him.

  5. Don’t waste your life!!! What opportunity is God giving you to maximize your potential?

  6. When you are filled by the Spirit, you are under the Spirit’s influence. (whose influence are you under? I pray it’s the Spirit of God).

  7. Let worship be a lifestyle.

  8. Regularly fill the tank of others with God’s perspective.

  9. Wives are to voluntarily place themselves under the legitimate authority of their husbands.

  10. Husbands can’t ask wives to do anything outside of God’s will.

  11. A kingdom husband out-serves his wife!!

  12. Kingdom husbands and kingdom wives must align their roles in the family with God’s design to draw on the heavenly blessings!

Let us be encouraged by the reading and hearing of God’s Holy Word today! Let us be obedient and do what God says do today, especially if we LOOKING FOR A MIRACLE! I believe that God will do a miracle in all of our lives before this year is out, if we simply OBEY HIS INSTRUCTIONS and MOVE WHEN HE SAYS MOVE!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
