Purpose Over Distraction: Stay on Mission
NOTE FROM ME (4/8/25)
As I continue to grow in the Truth and gain deeper biblical clarity, I have chosen to honor the ancient names of our Creator and Savior. You will notice that in my writings, I now use YAHAWAH when referring to the Most High, and Yahawashi Hamashiach when referring to the Messiah, instead of the commonly known Greek-translated names. I pray this message speaks to your spirit as we continue to seek and serve in truth.
Encouragement Refresher
The following blog is a reposted blog that I felt led to share again. As we continue growing in Truth and purpose, sometimes we just need a fresh reminder. May this message encourage and realign you today.
Keep the Mission in Front of You
You’re up! You’re breathing! You know what that means, right? You are still here on the earth to carry out a mission.
As I prayed this morning, I heard the Ruwach HaQadash (Holy Spirit) say to me: Keep the mission in front of you so you can remember why you’re even doing all of this.
Do you know what our mission is?
We have been commissioned to GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES. That means we have been commanded by Yahawashi Hamashiach, empowered by the Ruwach HaQadash, to evangelize to unbelievers, baptize believers, teach them the Word of Yahawashi, and train them to obey Him.
Yahawashi, undeterred, went right ahead and gave His charge:
“YAHAWAH authorized and commanded Me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Ruwach HaQadash. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” —Matthew 28:18-20 (adapted)
So that means every assignment that you get from the Ruwach HaQadash is centered around you being about your Father's business—just like Yahawashi was in Luke 2:49:
And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
We can get so caught up in our own missions that we forget we are not here just to work jobs, build amazing careers, and stack money to ball out, travel, and enjoy life with no kingdom mission or purpose in our dash.
Yes, the dash.
That little line between your birth date and your death date.
Ruwach HaQadash reminded me this morning to KEEP THE MISSION IN FRONT OF ME! Whether I am blogging, podcasting, trading stocks, writing books, teaching my kids, encouraging family or friends in conversation, or leading groups on how to pray and build an intimate relationship with YAHAWAH, there is a whole point to every single thing I am doing.
There is a whole point to every single thing you are doing.
Ask yourself:
Is what I’m doing related to YAHAWAH’s kingdom agenda?
Am I making disciples at this job?
Am I sharing the truth of Yahawashi Hamashiach at this fancy corporate shin-dig?
Am I going to places no one else will go to declare the Good News?
Am I traveling to enjoy life—but also sowing seeds along the way?
As I was seeking more scriptures about being mission-minded, I came across a blog post that gave me a very simplistic perspective on staying focused on the mission. I want to share the link with you here in hopes that it encourages you like it did me.
Let’s get back to YAHAWAH’s mission—or if you don’t know it yet, be intentional about learning what it is, so He can use you for the purpose you were born for.
P.S. I just love my Conversations With YAHAWAH! Don’t you?
