Stay On the Prayer Wall (Or Get On It For the First Time)

I want to get straight to it this morning. This is what I heard Holy Spirit say to me in our conversation this morning:

  • No longer optional but necessary

  • Strength for the necessary

  • Don’t be afraid to cast demons out

  • Stay on the prayer wall

  • I am with you on the prayer wall

  • Don’t get weary on the prayer wall

  • Your staying power resides in My name!

  • Say My Name Say My Name

  • Jesus Jesus

  • You’re wired to win because I wired you myself.

The scriptures:

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes. — Luke 18:1 TLB

Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). — Luke 18:1 AMPC

Today’s conversation with Holy Spirit was direct and encouraging to me. Now of course when I wrote Say My Name, Say My Name, I thought about the song by Destiny’s Child. And Holy Spirit showed me that by saying His name (Jesus), I as His Child will reach my destiny. By saying His Name (Jesus), my children will reach their destiny! Hallelujah!

Last night I walked into my daughter’s room and I noticed that she kinda jumped up. Well having been a secretive kid myself, I recognized the jump. Of course she and I had a conversational exchange and then Holy Spirit led me to start praying over my daughter. You see, I have prayed over my daughter many times before. My son as well. But what I realized is that I got to KEEP PRAYING. Just because I prayed those times before doesn’t exempt me from praying even more.

There is a destiny and a purpose for each of our lives. The enemy wants us to think we should be one-time prayer wonders or something like a one-hit wonder. Noooooo! The scripture tells us that Jesus told His disciples that they must keep praying until the answer comes. And guess what? The enemy is always trying to come so we must always be praying!!!

As me and my daughter connected on an even deeper level last night, I realized that as she approaches her teenage years, I must STAY FERVENTLY ON THE PRAYER WALL! Ain’t no breaks!

Last night I thought about when I was her age and all the little sneaky stuff I used to do. I got to praying! I even got to casting out demons! And Holy Spirit encouraged me this morning when He said: Don’t be afraid to cast demons out!

Yall we can’t be afraid to use the power of the name of Jesus, even with our children! The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but NOT ON OUR WATCH! We must stay on the prayer wall. And if you ain’t never been on the prayer wall, now is the time to jump on up here!

In the book of Jeremiah, the Lord said:

20 I will make you like a wall to them.
I will make you like a strong bronze wall.
The people will fight against you.
But they will not overcome you.
I am with you.
I will save you,”
announces the Lord. — Jeremiah 15:20 NIRV

If you have been on the prayer wall and you feel yourself getting a bit tired (because I know I have felt that), just know that I am praying for you (as you pray for me).

Check out this scripture:

17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away. He also preached peace to those who were near. 18 Through Christ we both come to the Father by the power of one Holy Spirit.

19 So you are no longer outsiders and strangers. You are citizens together with God’s people. You are also members of God’s family. 20 You are a building that is built on the apostles and prophets. They are the foundation. Christ Jesus himself is the most important stone in the building. 21 The whole building is held together by him. It rises to become a holy temple because it belongs to the Lord. 22 And because you belong to him, you too are being built together. You are being made into a house where God lives through his Spirit.

Ephesians 2:17-22

This scripture also helped me to see who I am on this prayer wall:

And now you are living stones that are being used to build a spiritual house. You are also a group of holy priests, and with the help of Jesus Christ you will offer sacrifices that please God. It is just as God says in the Scriptures,

“Look! I am placing in Zion
a choice and precious
    cornerstone.
No one who has faith
in that one
will be disappointed.” — 1 Peter 2:5-6 CEV

We are LIVING STONES on the prayer wall. Let us continue to build a spiritual house together with Jesus Christ being our cornerstone!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
