Total Dependence
Today I woke up feeling tired and weary. I pushed myself to the prayer closet and was just honest with my Father. I prayed in the Spirit.
I heard the Holy Spirit say TOTAL DEPENDENCE.
I relinquished control and just laid there. Tears streaming. 😭😭😭
I finally felt the strength to push myself up to read My Bible and just opened it.
Right there on the page were these specific words highlighted already.
Get up
Move out
Cross
Begin
Take possession
Engage
Then another highlighted part said: The Lord your God has been with you this past 40 years, and you have lacked nothing.
For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands.He has watched over your journey through this immense wilderness. The Lord your God has been with you these past forty years, and you have lacked nothing.’ Deuteronomy 2:7 CSB
My eyes then darted to the next highlighted piece and I was reading pages from right to left (which is the opposite way to read). The next part said, except Caleb the son of Jephuneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land on which he has set foot, because he remained loyal to the Lord.
35 None of these men in this evil generation will see the good land I swore to give your ancestors, 36 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land on which he has set foot, because he remained loyal to the Lord.’ Deuteronomy 1:35-36 CSB
Y’all!!! Words can’t even express how grateful I am for the Lord speaking to me specifically based on something I highlighted probably last year! But these words were needed today and I opened right to them!
Total dependence on God is letting Him have full control. I’m a living witness, when we simply show up, He will not only meet us and greet us, He will give us EVERYTHING we need in that moment!
Deuteronomy 2 then 1 were the chapters He chose to use to speak to me this morning.
That last part though regarding Caleb...was so specific!! I have gone and set my feet on some land recently! And Holy Spirit was letting me know... that even in my tiredness and weariness this morning, because I remain loyal to Him, I WILL SEE IT! HE WILL GIVE IT TO ME!
I put my name in that verse to make it personal because it was: ….except Fon my daughter. She will see it, and I will give her and her descendants the land on which she has set foot, because she remained loyal to the Lord.
Glory Hallelujah!! I am the exception! You are the exception when you remain loyal to the Lord, regardless of how you feel! What a way to energize me to get up, move out, cross, begin, take possession, and engage!
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!

Can you just be honest with God and let go of control? I believe He wants to speak to you just like He spoke to me this morning…SPECIFICALLY!
