Victory in Jesus

How much more bolder would you be in a fight if you knew it had already be decided in your favor?

How much more confident would you be showing up for a battle, if you knew it was already won for you?

How much more faithful would you be if you knew that because you live righteous, your prayers would be answered?

This morning was a morning of just show up to the battle. Even now as I do this blog/podcast, I am literally just SHOWING UP.

I am showing up bolder.

I am showing up confident.

I am showing up faithful.

I am showing up righteous.

Why?

Victory in Jesus!!!

How do I know that I have it? For the Bible tells me so!

“But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!”— ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:57‬ ‭CEV‬‬

This morning the thought that I had about today (the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday) is that Jesus conquered death, hell, and the grave!

He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. — Colossians 2:14-15 NLT

He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his! — Colossians 2:14-15 TPT

“We are guilty of many wrong things that are against God's laws. But Christ died on the cross on our behalf. He paid the debt of our sins. It is like he has destroyed the list of all the debts that we should pay to God. On the cross, Christ took away the power of the bad spirits that have authority to rule people. He showed clearly that he himself has won against them. Now everyone can see that those bad spirits have no power.” — ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭EASY‬‬

“Sin is what gives death its sting, and the Law is the power behind sin. But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory! My dear friends, stand firm and don't be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile.” — ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:56-58‬ ‭CEV‬‬

I am Grateful to God for the victory that our Lord Jesus Christ gives us in every area of our lives as we do His work and live out His will.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
