You Hear That?
You Hear That?
This morning while reading and studying John 10, I noticed something in the verses. I noticed:
- Jesus told
- Jesus said
- Jesus answered them
- Jesus replied
- Jesus said again
“The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.”
— John 10:27 AMPC
Our Lord is telling us, saying to us, answering us, replying to us and even saying it AGAIN!
Verse 27 confirms that when we are His, we HEAR and we LISTEN to His voice. He knows US! We follow Him.
The way to get to know someone is by spending time with them and listening to them. This morning the Holy Spirit was confirming that the more time we spend with Him, the more we can hear Him; the more we can Listen to Him; the more we will Follow Him.
The sheep that are MY OWN hear my voice says the Lord! So when you know WHOSE you are, there should be no doubt that you CAN HEAR the voice of our Lord and Savior.
“My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me,” — John 10:27 CEV
Stop doubting. YOU CAN hear the Lord!!
Somebody needed to HEAR that this morning!!
Now follow what the Lord says and be obedient to His voice... that you CAN HEAR, as His sheep.

Real quick I wanted to share something else the Holy Spirit said to me this morning. He told me to rest in His arms. He said for me to rest my mind, rest my thoughts, and rest my desires. I imagined myself being in His arms like a baby, just resting.
When I turned to John 10, verses 28-29 really confirmed His voice. It says: I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
I had a few desires to rise up pretty strongly this morning. I thank God that He spoke to me and let me know that I can come to Him with those desires, knowing that there is no temptation that can snatch me away from being in His arms.
I am so glad I can hear the comforting voice of my Savior to know that I can rest with Him.
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!

Write down what you heard the Holy Spirit say to you as you listened to His voice.
Record yourself reading the Word of God on video or audio and watch how God will use your own voice to give you revelation and build your faith (keeping this assignment on here for a while).
