Waymaker & Sheep Chaser
Hallelujah is the highest praise and we give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for saving us.
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, then I want to offer Christ to you right now! To make Jesus Christ Lord of your life, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
Now what did Holy Spirit say to me this morning? I am so glad you asked. And more excited that I get to be obedient and share our conversation with you.
Holy Spirit said: I will always make a way for you Fon.
After writing that down. He kept going!!!
Holy Spirit said: Keep putting ALL your eggs in MY BASKET! Keep trusting Me! I allow you to go through these tough moments to build your trust muscles. Then when things come up, all you have to do is think about the last time you trusted Me and remember how I made a way. Then you KEEP TRUSTING. I have shown you how to wait on Me. I won’t let you down. I DIDN’T CHASE YOU DOWN TO LET YOU DOWN!
It was the last line that had me in tears this morning in the prayer closet. I thought about how He said enough is enough in 2018. He didn’t want to see me hurting anymore. He didn’t want to see me settling anymore. He didn’t want to see me not living the life that He planned for me. Enough was enough. The Lord left the 99 and came chasing after me. Why? Because He loves me! He did the same thing for you! Has he caught you yet though is the question?
When I went seeking that scripture about leaving the 99 for the 1, I found it in Matthew. It is also in Luke as well. But here it is.
Let me ask you this. What would you do if you had a hundred sheep and one of them wandered off? Wouldn’t you leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go look for the one that had wandered away? — Matthew 18:12 CEV
The Holy Spirit said He didn’t chase me down to let me down!
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. — Deuteronomy 28:2 ESV
If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world. All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of God, your God:
God’s blessing inside the city,
God’s blessing in the country;
God’s blessing on your children,
the crops of your land,
the young of your livestock,
the calves of your herds,
the lambs of your flocks.
God’s blessing on your basket and bread bowl;
God’s blessing in your coming in,
God’s blessing in your going out. — Deuteronomy 28:1-6 MSG
Notice the word basket!! When I saw this in the message translation, it was confirmation of what Holy Spirit said to me about keep putting ALL MY EGGS IN HIS BASKET!! This means He is blessing the basket and giving it to me!! Hallelujah!
This is what our Lord and Savior did for us. He left the 99 and came for us!! And not just came for us…chased us!! And not just chased us, blessed us! Hallelujah!
Now the first thing I heard Holy Spirit say was that He would always make a way for me! Check out Isaiah 43:16!
This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sunbaked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me. — Isaiah 43:16-21 MSG
We were custom-made to praise God! Hallelujah!
