When Christ Was Born!
See the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.” ~ Matthew 1:23
Jesus Christ is incarnate deity. He entered the world to forgive us for our sins; to give us victory over our sins; and to give us an eternal home free from sin.
Today, may we recognize the true reason for Christmas. Jesus Christ.
This morning before my kids opened any gifts, I shared this scripture and message with them. I wanted them to know exactly why we celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ being born.
As we enjoy family today, may we never forget Jesus and His purpose for being born (which was not December but late March or early April actually). But regardless of the month, may we celebrate Jesus daily with praise and worship. May we discover the purposes and gifts God placed on the inside of us. And may we do all that we were created to do. May we always seek God first every single day.
Jesus Christ was born to save all of us. That's the best gift we could ever receive!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
ASSIGNMENTS
What did Holy Spirit say to you in your conversation with Him this morning?
Give God a thank you everyday in prayer, for the gift of Jesus being born to save the world.
Record yourself reading the word of God on video or audio and watch how God will use your own voice to give you revelation and build your faith (keeping this assignment on here for a while).
